Last weekend’s home football game was senior night for App State‘s fall student athletes. Despite Dance Team not being considered a part of Athletics, we still are fortunate enough to celebrate.
Being a part of the App State Dance Team for the past three years has taught me so much and the things I’ve learned by being on this team are applicable to other aspects of my life.
I’ve learned about discipline and independence by waking up for 6 a.m. workouts and helping lead our student run team.
The friends I’ve made over the last three years have impacted my life in ways unimaginable! I’m certain that these friends will stay with me long after graduation.
Every year the underclassmen will hand-make a gift for the seniors and this year they really outdid themselves! A photo collage with memories from ASDT over the years with small snippets of our poms scattered throughout the board is what each senior had waiting for them as we arrived to Kidd Brewer Stadium this past Saturday.
Luckily, App State has blessed us with one more chance to perform at KBS this Saturday for the Sunbelt Championship Game. App State will take on Louisiana-La Fayette at 12 p.m. in hopes of taking home their first ring of the season. It’s going to be a great game, so come out and show your support!
