Family Weekend at App State!

Last weekend Appalachian State hosted its annual Family Weekend, so if you noticed crazy traffic in Boone, you can point your finger at the parents. App State Dance Team was lucky enough to be able to host our second annual parents' tailgate, and we had a great turnout!

Although the weather wasn't as amazing as it could have been, we all had such a great time. Our team of 19 come from all over North Carolina and events like this one give us the opportunity to get to know each other better...plus, we love getting to eat the tailgate food!

After we spent time with our families we took our place on the field to get ready for kickoff. The weather seemed a little indecisive, going from sunny to shady constantly, but when fourth quarter came around it was finally time for our field performance! Check it out:
